I grew up in the beautiful city of Cape Town, South Africa. When I finished military training, I packed my bags and hitchhiked to a town Called Pietermaritzburg so many miles from my hometown to start out on my own.

It was here that I purchased my first car, but had hardly enough money to pay for the repairs and since it was an old Ford panel van, it broke down a lot. Most of the time I would take it to an old man I met. (thinking back now, I was young and so looking back he was probably not that old) Well, he would tell me what was wrong and I would buy the parts, and he would give me advice on how to repair it. That was before cell phones were popular and ‘YOUTUBE’ was some magical thought in one’s mind.

It was then that I realized how much I truly enjoyed being able to repair my car and what a thrill I felt when I got inside and could drive my car to work again that evening.

It wasn’t until a few years later that I decided to move back to Cape Town and work as an apprentice while I studying motor mechanics. In 1999 I decided it was time to open my first business. I always had more to learn but it was a success so I went on to open another business in a town Called George about 5 hours out of Cape Town.

With 2 business’s running, I thought there should be more than I could achieve so I prayed about it many times.

On reading the bible one evening, I came across this verse: Genesis 12:1
Now the LORD said to Abram, “Go forth from your country, And from your relatives And from your father’s house To the land which I will show you!
Now I still wasn’t sure if this was the WORD I was looking for, cause I didn’t even know which country I would be going to.

Then one day I had a customer come in from the UK who needed his car repaired. I chatted to him for a while and he told me how great it was to live in London and how easy it is to travel over there and to see many countries.

Well, within a few months, I had my visa to leave. I sold my one business and gave the other to a good friend who I employed at the time and I was on a jet plane…. Didn’t know if I’d be back again.

I decided to take a month vacation with my sister and brother in law who were living in Texas at the time before heading on to London.

Arriving in London was very surreal. It wasn’t until a week later, I had found a great job in Wimbledon, London. It was here that my love for BMW and many other European cars began. London has different certification from South Africa and the US, so I had to get their certification.

After around 5 years, I decided it was time to be in warmer climates and closer to my family who was now living in Texas. I applied for a visa and immigrated to the US in 2007. While waiting for my eligibility to live in the US, I decided to study ASE certification and become ASE qualified.

I then opened Elite Euro Car Care here to give people a quality of service that they deserve.

I am very appreciative of all my customers because they are not just customers to me but my friend because together we are a successful company. Without them, I could not be here today.
